Glas.Weld Systems scratch removal system is the only scratch removal
process in the world that meets both the British Standards Institute
(BSI) and the American National Standards Institue (ANSI) criteria for
distortion-free repairs on windscreens. Unlike
other processes the Glas.Weld System does not use abrasives such as cerium
oxide which lead to low spots in the glass which can be seen from some
angles and also cause distortion. The
polishing process generates friction and therefore heat which produces
a chemical reaction between the compounds and glass. This enables the
particles on the glass surface to move and fill in any abrasions. The
abrasions disappear and once the area is cleaned you would never know
